Electrical Work

A safe, compliant installation designed around how you live.

Electrical Work

An ageing electrical installation is a safety risk and a limit on your plans. We renovate, upgrade and modernise your installation: consumer unit, circuits, sockets and switches, lighting, ventilation, EV charging point or home automation. Every job fits into your renovation project, coordinated with the other trades, for an installation that is invisible, reliable and compliant.

Our process

1

Installation survey

Inspection of the consumer unit, circuits, earthing and protective devices. Identification of non-compliance and future needs.

2

Electrical layout

Design of the scheme: number of circuits, socket positions, lighting points and specific equipment (kitchen, bathroom, outdoors).

3

Detailed quote

Precise line-by-line pricing, with comfort options (dimmers, LED lighting, home automation, EV charger).

4

Works

Chasing, conduit runs, cabling, installation of the consumer unit and accessories by our qualified electricians, coordinated with the plasterer and painter.

5

Testing and commissioning

Full verification of the installation, safety tests, commissioning and handover of the compliance file.

Materials and techniques

We install consumer units and breakers from recognised professional brands, cables and conduits to current standards, designer accessories and low-consumption LED lighting. For home automation we offer wired (KNX) or wireless solutions depending on the project, as well as EV charging points. The exact suppliers are agreed with you at quotation stage.

Estimated timelines

Replacing a consumer unit takes one day. A full electrical renovation takes 1 to 2 weeks for a flat and 2 to 4 weeks for a house depending on size. Installing an EV charger or outdoor lighting takes half a day to a day.

Frequently asked questions

When should an electrical installation be renewed?

An installation over 25 to 30 years old, a fuse board, no earthing, breakers that trip regularly or a lack of sockets are all signs that renovation is needed. It is also essential during a full renovation or extension.

How much does electrical renovation cost in Luxembourg?

The budget depends on the floor area, the number of circuits to create, the condition of the existing installation and the level of equipment you want (accessories, home automation, EV charger). Replacing a consumer unit alone and a full rewiring are not the same job. We provide a detailed, free quote after an on-site survey.

Does the installation have to be inspected in Luxembourg?

Yes, any new installation or major renovation must comply with the grid operator's (Creos) requirements and Luxembourg regulations. We carry out the work within this framework and hand over the documents required at completion.

Do you install EV charging points?

Yes, we install home wallboxes (7 to 22 kW) after checking the available power of your connection. We advise you on Luxembourg state subsidies for private charging points.

Can home automation be added to an older home?

Yes. During a full renovation we can wire a KNX home automation system. In an occupied home, wireless solutions let you control lighting, blinds and heating without major work.

Will the power be cut during the works?

Occasional cuts are necessary, but we organise the site to keep essential rooms (kitchen, fridge) powered as much as possible. The schedule of cuts is agreed with you in advance.
