Drone Survey

Aerial footage to inspect and showcase your projects.

Drone Survey

With our drone survey service, we carry out roof inspections, site monitoring and high-definition aerial footage. An invaluable tool for documenting your project progress, detecting anomalies at height, or showcasing your property with spectacular images.

Our process

1

Defining your needs

Discussion of your objectives: technical inspection, site monitoring, property photography or before/after documentation.

2

Flight planning

Scheduling based on weather, verifying flight authorisations and preparing the flight plan.

3

Survey and capture

Drone flight capturing high-definition photos and videos from various angles and altitudes.

4

Image processing

Selection, editing and compilation of images. Annotation of areas of interest for technical inspections.

5

Report delivery

Delivery of high-resolution digital files and, for inspections, a detailed report with recommendations.

Materials and techniques

We use professional DJI drones equipped with 4K cameras and high-resolution sensors. For thermal inspections, we have infrared cameras that can detect heat loss and water infiltration invisible to the naked eye.

Estimated timelines

A standard survey takes 1 to 2 hours on site. Image processing and delivery is completed within 2 to 5 working days. For technical inspections, the full report is delivered within one week. Surveys are scheduled according to weather conditions (wind, rain).

Frequently asked questions

Do you need authorisation for a drone survey in Luxembourg?

Yes, drone flights are regulated in Luxembourg by the Civil Aviation Authority (DAC). SO Habitat holds all the necessary authorisations and employs certified pilots to operate fully within the law.

What are the advantages of a drone roof inspection?

A drone inspects your roof without scaffolding, more quickly and at lower cost. It provides high-definition images of every area, detecting broken tiles, zinc-work issues and thermal losses.

Can the drone detect leaks or insulation problems?

Yes, using a thermal infrared camera, we identify heat-loss zones and moisture infiltration. This data allows us to target the necessary repairs precisely.

How much does a drone survey cost?

A standard roof inspection with photographic report starts from 250 EUR. The price varies depending on the area, capture type (photo, video, thermal) and the level of reporting required.

Can you use a drone for site monitoring?

Yes, we offer regular flyovers to document your project's progress. Aerial images provide precise visual tracking, useful for project owners, architects and insurers.
